We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Heredia, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR). Position overview: The Quality Engineer will need to understand business, customer and application requirements and project documents to provide inputs to test plan, design and review test scenarios/ test cases that validate the applications. The candidate will need to meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements using all quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools. Position's General Duties and Tasks: Understand business / customer / application requirements and project documents to provide inputs to test plan, design and review test scenarios/ test cases that validate the applications. Experience in automated execution using Automation tools. Progress reporting and risk assessments Proficient in different phases of testing like Functional, E2E, Regression and Integration Testing Identify code optimization area to make execution faster. Automation feasibility analysis / Automation test plan Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs. Qualifications Must have Skills: Fluent English communication Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in IT Industry overall. 4+ relevant experience with Selenium Automation Testing & Agile Methodologies. Strong experience in Java Strong SQL knowledge and experience Must have knowledge in TestNG, Git Must have knowledge with Guidewire Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.
